The existing chicken manure is mixed with straw, sawdust, mushroom residue and dry soil powder in proper proportion. 1 ton of material (about 2.5 tons of fresh material) is added with 1 kg of starter, diluted by 1 kg of starter and 5 kg of rice bran (or wheat bran, corn flour and other substitutes), and then evenly spread into the material pile for mixed fermentation. During the fermentation process, proper oxygen supply and composting should be paid attention to (overturn several times when the temperature rises to 75 ℃) and the temperature should be controlled at about 65 ℃. The moisture content of fermentation materials should be controlled at 60-65%. Too much water leads to poor ventilation, slow temperature rise and odor. Adjust material moisture method: if the moisture content is too high, straw, sawdust, mushroom residue, dry soil powder can be added. The method to judge whether the moisture content is suitable or not: hold a handful of materials tightly, see the watermark but do not drip on the finger seam, and disperse immediately after landing.
The whole fermentation process was completed in 5-7 days. The finished organic fertilizer is fluffy, dark brown, with wine flavor or soil flavor, rich in nutrients, and nutritious soil for fruits, vegetables, cash crops and seedlings.
