Five steps of screener machine cleaning and maintenance

In the fertilizer production line, the fertilizer sifter is used to screen fertilizer particles of different sizes to ensure product quality. However, after a long time of operation, the screener machine is prone to blockage, screen wear and other problems, affecting the production efficiency. Therefore, regular cleaning and maintenance of the screen is essential. The following are five key steps that can effectively extend the service life of the equipment and improve the production efficiency of the fertilizer granulator.

1. Power off to ensure safety

Before cleaning or maintenance, be sure to cut off the power supply of the screener machine to prevent safety accidents caused by misoperation. At the same time, wait for the equipment to completely stop running before proceeding to the next step.

2. Clean the inside of the screen and fuselage

The screen is the core part of the screener machine, which is easy to accumulate material residue after long-term use and affect the screener effect. The screen should be removed regularly, compressed air or a soft brush should be used to clean the attached material, and check for blockage, breakage or deformation. Material residues inside the fuselage should also be thoroughly removed to avoid affecting normal operation.

3. Check the screen and fasteners

The tightness of the screen directly affects the accuracy and efficiency of screener. After cleaning, check whether the screen is loose, if loose or damaged, it should be adjusted or replaced in time. At the same time, check whether the bolts and connectors of the equipment are tight to prevent loosening due to vibration and affect the stability of production.

4. Lubricate transmission parts

The bearing, gear, belt and other transmission parts of the screener machine may be worn or abnormal after a long time of operation due to lack of lubrication. Appropriate amount of lubricating oil should be added regularly to reduce friction, improve equipment operation efficiency, and prevent overheating or damage.

5. Test run and check the device status

After cleaning and maintenance, restart the screen and check the running status. If abnormal vibration, uneven screener or abnormal noise is found, it should be stopped immediately for inspection to ensure normal operation of the equipment before being put into production.
